Hi everyone!
Life goes on, and as it goes, I pray that you take time to remember Jesus every single day! He gave HIS all to us so we may have the
opportunity to spend eternity in heaven with Him! What we do with that opportunity is on us! I pray that you have made the right choice!
If you have any questions on that, shoot us an email and we'll be glad to visit with you about this incredible gift from God!!
I have been working on quotes for potential projects in Honduras. I sent the quote for the perimeter fence in La Esperanza for the new church project. I'm working on the roof replacement in Utila. I'm also working with Sindy and the engineer in La Ceiba on the cities issue with our project there. I'm working on another roof replacement in La Ceiba. Working on putting together teams for the coming year, we currently are working on 4 teams, including another chiropractic team in August!! Tonight (Tuesday) we're going to Cincinatti for a meet and greet at Alreddy Cafe, sponsored by Mick and Vicki, that will be fun! This Sunday we are at another church, sharing our passion with their mission committee!
Beto (and Antony) has the bus at the Copan Ruins with a bunch of girls from Yolany's Hope! They ran into a strike yesterday morning on the way there, I haven't heard how long they had to wait, setting in traffic. I understand that they sat in traffic for 2 hours! A long time if you need to use the restroom! Today, Wednesday, we heard that Beto finally was able to drop the girls off this morning at 5:30!! A very long day! Thank you Beto for your responsibility and taking care of the girls from Yolany's Hope!! What an adventure!
Last night's meet and greet at the Alreddy Cafe was extremely nice! Thank you to Mick, Vicki, Nikki, Nick, Hannah, Zach and Jesse from the Reddy family who helped cook and serve! And thank you to everyone who came (around 30 people) to listen to our mission and goals! We were honored and humbled by your attentiveness and support of what we are trying to accomplish! What a blessing to meet all of you, and to reconnect with a few friends! Thank you, Mrs. Audrey, for your heartfelt generosity! That was a neat story! Thank you, Lord! We got home around midnight last night, after sleeping in a little (7:00am) we woke up to snow on the ground! It is December, and the snow is pretty, making everything look white and clean!
Today is Friday, we received a video from Omoa last night, the river had flash-flooded out of its banks and was rushing through our
place! There must have been a lot of rain up in the mountains for that to come up that fast and that high! We had heard that sometimes
the river does flood, we just hadn't seen it yet. There must have been 6 inches or more of water in the house, and of course with the
water coming from the river, a lot of mud too! The crew was still up at 3:00 am cleaning, bless them!! We've heard of other rivers
flash flooding and have seen a few videos, the power of rushing water is quite formidable! Praying for those who were in the path of
this destruction!
Sunday afternoon and it's raining, no more snow, just mud...the snow was prettier! We just got home from sharing at a church in
Marion with their mission committee. They had a lot of good questions! We are praying for God to open their hearts to support us and
thanking God for going before us with the introduction to this committee! Praise the Lord!
Tammy and I are so very thankful for all of you! Praying that you have a blessed week coming up and that you make an effort to spend
some alone time with God! He wants all of our hearts all of the time, not just part of us and when we want!
PS. I have the flash flood video on the power point presentation, it doesn't appear to work so I've attached it at the bottom
